If the Addams family could be re-wrapped into a more suburbanite format, with all their unusual quirks intact, then this play would be the best representation, to me. The story flows and is visual to the degree that it would make for a great sketch (TV and theatre). The narrative flow works like a charm and has a great dose of that Addams family dark humour at the right points. You can see where it's all going but it doesn't stop you from wanting to read it all to make sure.
