Another great product. Fantastic illustrations. Again, I only wish they included a full color option as well.

Arcane Creations Vol. I: Misc. Magical Items is a collection of artwork that can be used for items magical or simply unique. The artwork for all 60 items is by V. Shane.

These images are designed to be printed out, preferably on something durable like cardstock, to be used as visual aids and description of items. This is indeed a collection of miscellaneous magic items, from armor to staves, swords to cloaks, a little bit of everything is included. V. Shane?s art is clean and ready for printing, though some of the items tend to be a little barque all are suitably fantastic to be items of magic and power.

This product is of less utility to those who do not have access to a good printer but it can still spark the imagination. How useful this product will be depends on the style of the campaign but good visuals can be helpful to most styles of play. It is a little costly, however, as it requires both the purchase of the pdf and then printing to be used for best effect.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: Well done and organized artwork.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Nothing really.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

A beautifully drawn collection of items ranging from items of armour and clothing to weapons. Each has a style to set it apart from others of its type. Perfect for providing inspiration for an adventure. The illustrated ammunition cards for arrows, quarrels and darts make a nice addition for a character.

Hello

Well I definently liked this and so did my players. In fact during the slow times several of them with an artistic flair have taken to colouring them in for me. I printed them off on different coloured paper, but found white to be the best for my needs. Now that I have some ready I will be giving them out as treasure items and it creates a neat focus for the items. I use card holders, those plastic ones for Magic the Gathering, to hold the smaller ones, and I plan to put the larger ones on the backs of index cards with iether double sided tape or a glue stick. The card will have the items stats. The nice thing getting others to colour them in besides the savings in time, is they will do them differently then I would have which just adds to the uniqueness of them.

My only complaint would be I wanted more. The art was good, not Fantastic, but definently good quality and detail. I would suggest though that they try to make sure they is space to colour things. One picture is of a statue (a small one) but it is very black with little to colour in. If they had all been that way I would have been pissed off. But they weren't, they were nicely done and I feel well worth the price, which I also picked up the other set as well. Which i also liked.

What can I say that the first poster didnt, this is excellent. I've been trying to create the same magic-item cards from images found on the web or scanned from old rulebooks, but these are so much better.

My only complaint? Its so cheap that RPGNow or the Credit Card companies wont take the transaction so I had to buy something else as well :) On 2nd thoughts, thats not a complaint.

My vote is for elven items next.

This is a great idea and a great product! You can't beat the price either. The cards are easy to print and cut -no formatting required- and the artwork is very good. For any DM who likes the idea of visual aids but isn't much of an artist (like me!), these cards are definitely worth taking a look at.

I am going to print & laminate several of the "ammo" & "ration" cards for my players (as per V's tip) to help ease the bookkeeping. Also, I will be giving the players a card per potion or scroll to "redeem" when they drink/read it.

I'm really looking forward to the next volume as well.
