Loved this! Excellent short story about a sidekick for a superhero. So unique in its ap[proach and expertly handled. Very nice writing. Can't wait oread more by this author.

This barely qualifies as a short story. It's not the writing (which is at best shakey), the editing (which is nonexistant), or the plot (also nonexistant). It's that this is a remarkably short story that has just enough pages to contain some dialogue, deux ex machina and scant homoerotic subtext whereas the abstract reads like it would be a novella or novel. There is nothing in this SKU's description that identifies it as a short story, which I would have preferred knowing going into the story and probably would have deterred me from purchasing.
