The Portrait Séance

Ghost hunter extraordinaire Dexter A. Prowley returns with another remarkable story from his celebrated career. The portrait of glamorous 1920s socialite Drusilla Cummings has long been reputed to be haunted by its artist, the temperamental Guillaume de Lorraine. Communicating with the spirit of de Lorraine would surely bring a wealth of parapsychological knowledge, but such communion is difficult as long as the portrait is safely ensconced in the Abana Museum of Contemporary Art. Dexter, along with a crack team of paranormal experts, embarks on an audacious plan, but they soon discover that getting the painting out of the museum is only the beginning of their difficulties presented by this case.
