Yeah, to confirm, this really is just an old school DOS batch file.

To see the contents, and KNOW that it's harmless, just right-click and choose "Edit" (or add ".txt" to the extension if you're really old school!) and run it in Notepad.

Bog standard MS-DOS commands from the 80's. Simple, and rather elegant imho. I like a clever batch file!

This is a batch file. Windows will complain about it. I've gone through it, and it's pretty basic and safe.
This is like the old command line stuff, so if you aren't familiar with really old dos style stuff, this is going to be very unfamiliar to GUI users.

There are no options for open ended dice, exploding dice, fudge dice, icon dice, etc. It's just a basic random number generator.

It's neither good nor bad, and it has it's uses. I just want to clarify what I found so nobody is surprised by this, and so nobody freaks out over the warnings that windows throws up. Especially that last part. The average user doesn't know jack about bat file scripting, especially these days, so I figured I'd clear that up before anyone panics.

Just to be clear, I don't know the person that wrote this, and have no connection to them at all. I'm just really old school and am rather more than familiar with both writing dice programs, and batch files as well.
