Life in post holocaust New Washington lives a difficult existence. Dangers lurk everywhere and not least of all, from the mutagenic rains, which fall from black, poisoned clouds. The earth was abandoned by the pure strain human race, hundreds of years ago and now mutated humans and animals, call this dark earth their home. The Brotherhood of the Slug controls a large area of the city. This is the story of that organization and the bad tempered mutant slug known only as ‘The Boss' who was their leader.
