This book is from the "old Times" of WoD and it shows - for the better! I really like the different tone in intra-Clan relations. From 3. Ed. on, the clans are so dysfunctional, it is ludicrous. This book is from the 1-2. Edition, where the Clans have internal problems (like all "families" do), but there is a sense of belonging and cooperation if needed. Especially the Tremere Clan is fleshed out in ways that makes far more sense than later editions. In this book, the Tremere really come across as the mage-vampire "hybrids" they are.
