The story didn't grab me right away, I was unable to finish it. Part of the reason was the awkward formatting on my ebook reader (kobo). This of course may not be everyone's issue. I will go back and try and finish it when I have some time.

Very well written, with a lot of depth to the world and characters coming out from a reasonably short volume. You can see that there is more to these characters than just 2d cutouts of stereotypical traits. the story itself has a feeling of weight to it that you'd usually only find in much longer books but doesn't bog down in exposition beyond what feels natural. The only faults I found are the occasional spelling mistake. Loved it regardless.
